Adventys is the leading French manufacturer of professional induction

Born in Seurre, in the Saône valley, in 1999, Adventys is today a rapidly expanding family business, with more than 20 years of expertise in induction, unique know-how and cutting-edge technology, at the service for catering professionals, and now individuals.

Adventys, the leading French manufacturer of professional induction

The story of Adventys begins in the 90s, with the appearance of domestic induction cooking. This new method allows households to use electric currents to directly heat their pots and pans through magnetic induction.

Revolutionary technology with undeniable advantages:

- more reassuring,

- energy and cost efficient,

- more respectful of the environment,

- offering temperature control to the nearest degree,

- flexible and adaptable to different formats and types of cooking.

But at the time, no player on the induction market was aimed at professionals of the hotel and catering. This is why, in 1999, a former employee of the domestic induction industry, decided to found Adventys. Its goal: to develop the first French company specializing in professional induction, aimed at restaurateurs.

More than 20 years of expertise in professional induction

After its creation in 1999, Adventys was joined in 2001 by a second partner, René Guillemin, and worked to become the company specializing in professional induction and electronic cards. A major turning point in 2005: when Jean- Luc Pérot acquires Adventys, to devote himself to the development and marketing of induction technology.

Who is Jean-Luc Pérot?

An engineer specializing in aeronautics and automobiles, Jean-Luc Pérot first joined major groups such as Renault Industrial Vehicles (RVI) and Faurecia in management positions, but also in Research & Development. In particular, he participated in the launch and creation of the first domestic induction hobs at Thomson.

He decided in 2005 to buy the company Adventys.

In 20 years, the progression is immense: Adventys becomes one of the ten companies on the planet to design, manufacture and market induction products.

Adventys products are now present all over the world. We currently export to over 75 countries in Asia, the United States and Europe.

With more than a hundred products in the catalogue, the breadth of our range allows us to offer products suited to the different needs of all players in the hotel and catering sector: from Grande Cuisine to fast food, including by cafes, food trucks, hotel schools, bakeries, etc.

We also carry out tailor-made projects to meet the needs of each professional in the hotel and catering industry.

Adventys, a family business above all

Adventys also has forty employees, a showroom, a design office and a manufacturing workshop - all located in Seurre, a town of 2,500 inhabitants in the Saône valley. But it is above all a family adventure! Indeed, Jean-Luc Pérot was joined by his two daughters: Mathilde, in 2008, now Export Sales Director, then Jeanne in 2020, as Industrial Manager. It is together that they now wish to write the history of Adventys and revolutionize the induction industry.

Innovation at the heart of our business

Innovation has always been at the heart of the Adventys project. This is why we have created a design office and a Research and Development department (still based in Seurre) to continuously improve our induction technology.

We use computer-aided design (CAD), which allows us to produce precise mechanical parts, and to validate their assemblies by 3D simulation, a guarantee of quality for manufacturing. We regularly update our means and design methods by acquiring new tools and training our technicians and engineers.

We have a 150 square meter showroom as well as a demonstration kitchen to present our different ranges of appliances marketed and organize commercial or technical training for our customers.

We know that steady progress depends on products that are both thoughtfully designed and durable. That's why we always start by listening to our customers and developing solutions that fit into their kitchen and make their daily life easier.

Sustainability and environmental protection

At Adventys, sustainability and environmental protection are fundamental considerations, and we strive to participate in them, at our scale, on two levels.

First, by manufacturing our products locally, all “Made in France”. The fact of manufacturing all our products in France allows our company to control the entire manufacturing process to guarantee quality and flexibility, while controlling our costs.

Our premises are also located in Seurre, in Burgundy, and 100% of the manufacturing process is done on site, in the Adventys factory. All services are also provided on site, we speak of vertical integration:

- An electronics workshop

- A metallurgy workshop

- The R&D department (6 people)

- An assembly line

- A sales force

In 2007, 2014 and 2019 we built 3 new buildings to quadruple our production area and store our products. Today, Adventys extends over 3000 square meters of buildings and offices.

Next, we make sure to manufacture products with little impact on the environment. Induction technology has the advantage of being the most energy efficient compared to other cooking methods. Indeed, induction hobs avoid heat loss by heating only the part on which the bottom of the heating utensil is placed (and not the entire cooking zone). Induction also has the advantage of heating twice as fast as a gas hob, and is therefore less energy-intensive - in addition to being economical.

Finally, the production of our induction solutions also have the advantage of not using or generating volatile organic compounds, which contribute to global warming.
